Operations Director at Lie Detectors – deadline for applications 30 March

Lie Detectors is looking for an experienced Operations Director with demonstrated knowledge of budget management, legal compliance as well as human resources management in an international environment – to support our fight against disinformation and for media literacy. You will have had experience overseeing legal matters and coordinating with external legal providers and accountants. You will be an experienced negotiator and a strong, effective and supportive leader. You will have an affinity for and commitment to the work of Lie Detectors. Excellent English plus French and/or German are a must for this job, other European languages a bonus. This is a Brussels-based position (but we will consider strong candidates in Berlin, Cologne and London), with a possibility of combining with some work from home.

Starting annual salary €90,000-€100,000 depending on experience.

Administration Trainee

Lie Detectors is seeking a dynamic Administration Trainee to support in tackling disinformation in Europe. Help us to administer more than 1,000 classroom visits each year, with office management, data entry, research, and project management. This is a full-time, four month traineeship with an option to renew for two additional months. Our traineeships have, on occasion, led to entry-level permanent employment. Fluency in English and French is required.
