Communications Director

Jane worked as a journalist, radio newsreader and independent producer for BBC and commercial networks in the United Kingdom. She founded and managed two media startups and worked as a lecturer and academic leader in London’s top journalism schools, including City University and the University of Westminster. Moving to Germany in 2015, Jane joined the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom as Project Co-ordinator and later Acting Managing Director. Before she joined Lie Detectors as Communications Director, Jane participated in the organisation’s classrooms work, visiting schools in person and by video-conference. She graduated in Modern European Studies from the University of Bristol. Her native tongue is English and she is fluent in German and French, with a working knowledge of Italian.
